​​​Responsibilities:​ The intern will work closely with the management in ongoing tasks including coordination of social media, meeting coordination and notes, and general office support. This is a paid internship.

Qualifications/Requirements​:​ Must be currently enrolled in a college or university, or have a college degree. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Must have a professional manner and be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Must have strong computer proficiency, including knowledge of software like Adobe Photoshop, Gmail, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, as well as all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
Desired Characteristics​:​ The ideal candidate would have an interest in entertainment, marketing and media relations.

SPA Studios is looking for a production manager for KLAUS, a 2D feature film in Madrid Spain, to begin ASAP through October of 2019. The production manager is responsible for the running of the production teams across all departments and for all day to day production operations. The production manager works with department leads and the production team to schedule departmental work, forecast needed crew, and to forecast delays and shortfalls against the master schedule and report this information to the producer.

Job Description:
KEY ANIMATOR: Work under the guidance of the Director to create high-quality 2D animation sequences as determined by the poses/storyboards for the main character. The Key Animator will be empowered to improve upon key poses and boards and flesh out limited action sections. Artist must be able to work within production deadlines to meet assigned weekly quotas and expectations as well as work collaboratively.

We are looking for:
– Previous experience as an Animator or Layout Artist on a 2D feature/short
– Strong sense of acting, staging, posing, timing, the ability to stay on model, and familiarity with drawing animals/quadrupeds
– Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative; solution oriented with keen artistic taste
– Ability to multi-task and prioritize
– Communicate in a professional and positive manner
– Bonus Points…if you Believe in magic and children’s storybooks!

Process:
We are wrapping up pre-production/development, with production slated to ramp up in late August-early Sept. We have completed the script, key concept art, character designs, and storyboards. Our expected delivery of final cut is May 2018 for the 6-minute picture.

International Student Film Festival of Animation ANIMAFANTASIA was founded in 2011 under the name FLASH – International Student Film Festival of Animation –, and now the project is reconverted in the 2017 edition under a new title – ANIMAFANTASIA.

The aim of the ANIMAFANTASIA project is reviving Romanian animation film at the European level, the dissemination of innovative creations in the field of animation in national/international academia and the creation of partnerships and collaboration in view of strengthening inter-regional dialogue among the younger generation of students.

ANIMAFANTASIA aims to dispel the popular misconception that animation is just cartoons for kids by screening the broadest possible range of intelligent, entertaining and provocative current films on offer from all around the Europe as well as retrospectives and specialised sessions from trends/animators who don’t normally elicit such attention.

Requirements:
Application in the competition can be achieved by sending YouTube/Vimeo/web-site link where the movie up-loaded via email: animafantasia.official@gmail.com or by sending a CD / DVD via mail / courier services, along with the printed application form and agreement.
Film eligibility:
Each competing author / team of authors may register maximum 3 movies.
If more than one person authored the film, you confirm, by submitting the film, that you have the necessary consent from its co-authors to submit the film.
Meets eligibility any animated short film, created by students, graduates, PhD students from any university of arts in Romania / European Union countries.
Length – Films should be 15 minutes maximum.
Animation method: All animation methods are eligible: hand-drawn, 2D/3D computer animation, stop-motion, pixilation, rotoscope, motion capture, compositing with live action (live action films must have a strong animation component).
All genres of animation are eligible: narrative, abstract, music video, advertisement, documentary, motion comics, non-play video game sequences, etc.
While various formats are acceptable, we prefer:
file format .mov or .mp4 or .avi
frame rate 24 or 25 fps
aspect ratio 16:9
resolution 1920×1080.*
* File Format – We will attempt to play whatever you send — but strongly prefer .mov or .mp4 files or avi. Frame Rate – We accept any frame rate — but want 24 or 25fps if you have it. Aspect Ratio – We accept any aspect ratio. All films will be displayed in a 16:9 frame, with black bars added as necessary. Resolution – Please send the highest resolution file you have got. A vertical resolution of 1080pixels is ideal. Minimum vertical resolution is 480pixels.
